Studio rules

Please read and review the studio rules to avoid receiving a minimum penalty of $100 for breaking any of the rules and policies.

Studio rules

Please be aware that you will have full privacy in the studio. Remember to lock the main door. Booking the studio means you will be booking both the waiting/vanity area as well as the full warehouse. No other renters will be allowed in the warehouse during your rental.

*If any of these rules/policies are broken, you will be charged a $100 minimum fee*

    •    We are not liable for any personal injuries or illnesses during your time at the Studio and recommend you carry business liability insurance to protect yourself and your clients.

    •    The main doors MUST be locked at all times. This is super important for everyone’s safety. Please meet each client at the main door to let them in to ensure the door is being locked properly each time.

    •    SEAMLESS PAPER BACKDROPS: No cake smashes directly on the papers. Do not cut the papers unless you have emailed us in advance requesting a fresh cut (you will be charged $10). 

    •     Your time slot includes your setup and clean up. We will charge you for entering the studio early, or going over on your time. You may text us at (480)650-4937 and ask if you can extend at $35/ half hour. This is subject to studio availability!

• PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB, LAY, OR STAND ON THE BABY GRAND PIANO!! Not only for your client’s safety, but because this is a very old piano!! Breaking this rule will automatically cause you to loose permanent access to the studio.

• You are welcome to use the lighting equipment. Please be very careful with using the c-stand with lantern soft box unless you are confident in the use of it. There are additional filters, umbrellas, spotlight options on the back shelf that you are welcome to use. Please return these items once you are done and keep lighting equipment with soft boxes.

• Feel free to use any of the props on the brown bookshelf but please be gentle with them and return once you are done.



• The white posing boxes, directors chair, blue tufted chairs, wood stool and chair , and black couch can all be used, but please return them once done.

• The white stairs cannot be moved at the moment.

    •    Clean up after yourself and your clients before you leave. Put everything back how you found it. Unplug any used lights before leaving and place them under the paper rolls. There are cleaning supplies in the waiting area, the bathroom, and behind the green backdrop set up that you are welcome to use.

• Please do not use any of the gowns or wardrobe unless you have selected it as an add on. If your client would like to use one, please be aware that there is a $15 fee. Please text (480)650-4937 if you would like to use the gowns/wardrobe.

    •   Do not allow your clients to run, yell, scream, etc. No Jumping off the couches. Do not drag furniture across the floor. Keep music volumes down.

    •    Do not damage the walls. Do not hang anything on the walls without prior approval.

    •    No food or drink allowed beyond the waiting area (besides water) without prior approval.

• Water is complimentary is the mini fridge, feel free to help yourself and your client! Stay hydrated!!

• Items in the vanity area may be used, but please be sure to tidy the area before leaving.

    •    No pets allowed. Service animals must be approved a minimum of 24 hours before your rental. If an unapproved animal is brought into the studio you will be charged a $150 pet fee!

    •    No open flames, candles, body oil, confetti, glitter, smoke bombs, or any other outside prop that may leave a mess or cause damage to the studio. If you aren’t sure, please ask us ahead of time.

    •    Let us know if there are any repairs to be made or maintenance to be done. You are responsible for any damage occurring to the studio during your time slot and may be subject to a repair fee. Please treat our studio with care and insure your clients are respectful as well. 

    •    Workshops or large styled events must be approved beforehand. Please email us with the details before booking. Only one contracted photographer permitted at the studio during a time slot unless special permission was given beforehand.

Cancellation Policy

    •    All bookings are non-refundable.

    •     No refunds on unused time. 

    •    Casa Renteria Studios  reserves the right to cancel any bookings at their discretion. In the rare case that this happens, a full refund on the rental cost will be given. .
