Welcome to Casa Renteria Studios! A curated studio that welcomes creativity. My name is Genesis and I am the lead photographer and owner. I have been doing photography for over 5 years. In these five years I have been part of various photography communities. I believe the creative community thrives off collaboration and I am so excited to share the space!

I am a true-to-color photographer that focuses on capturing images that are timeless.
I have done photography all of my life from point and shoot, instant Polaroid , to film, however I have focused the last 5 years in perfecting my craft and expanding my portfolio.
I am a full time stay at home mom and photographer, which allows me to fully focus on my clients.
Over the last 5 years I have been able to:
- Collaborate with various models in creative direction, wardrobe planning, location scouting, and posing direction.
- Capture Jessi Reyez’s “The People’s Purge” poetry reading in collaboration with Changing Hands Bookstore and Madison Center for the Arts.
- Curate 2 photography studios with multiple sets and lighting options and settings.
- Attend 15+ themed photoshoots and content days hosted by various photography organizations and collectives. These photoshoots have been essential in expanding my knowledge and experience as a photographer.
Casa Renteria Studios
Our studio is a curated space that allows for creativity to flow. Every set is carefully thought out to create the best experience for the photographer and clients. Our space consists of 5 different sets as well as 6 different colors for seamless paper backdrops. We are a naturally light studio with delicious lighting that may also be enhanced with various strobe light options as well as a colorful ring light. Our sets can also be customized with various posing boxes, stairs, and chairs.
